1. Alice Gao is New York-based lifestyle and food photographer. She is a serious coffee drinker and mid-century design fanatic. She dreams of one day living in a Tribeca loft with giant windows.”

We asked Alice to take Everlane on her daily travels and capture it for Instagram. We have to say, she’s inspiring us to pack our bags and hit the road.

  5. A look at our Reverse Denim.

  6. “We were exploring different fabrications at the factory and saw a beautiful reverse-denim fabric. We had an idea: What if we fuse it with khaki for contrasting texture and turn it into a bag collection? It has a classic appeal, while still feeling modern. We made the fabric water-resistant and applied it across all five styles. With that, the Reverse-Denim Collection was born.”

The revolution that started in food is expanding to clothing: origins matter…”In the clothing industry, everybody wears it every day, but we have no idea where it comes from,” said Michael Preysman, Everlane’s chief executive and founder. “People are starting to slowly clue in to this notion of where products are made.
